Dish STB Models 722 / 222 Troubleshooting & Setup

The most common Dish code for Flipper is 2294.

The 722 and 222 Dish set-top boxes (STBs) are highly flexible, but their setup can vary.
Each STB has up to 26 different possible IR (infrared) remote address settings, making it uncertain which setting the Dish technician used.

Understanding Remote Address Settings

The codes in our list often work, but if Dish has set a different remote address, you may need to:

  • Use Code Search to find a match.
  • Reset the STB to factory settings (⚠ Caution: This may affect your remote pairing).
  • Use the Learning feature if no matching code is found.

Let us know your box's remote address and which Flipper code worked, so we can update our list.

Updated Dish Codes

Try these codes if 2294 does not work:
2944, 3714, 3354, 3274, 3264, 3954, 3694

How to Change the Remote Address to a Synced Code

1 Press the "Sys Info" button on the Dish STB.
2 Press "Menu" on the Dish remote.
3 Press and hold the SAT button on the Dish remote until the function lights turn on.
4 Enter the remote address (e.g., 5) based on the chart below.
5 Press "#", wait 10 seconds, and then press REC.
6 Confirm the address change, then exit.

Finally, set the Flipper remote to match the new remote address.
