Some Xfinity installs go directly into the TV; others use a small white box / STB against the wall or behind firniture.
First, determine your devices by asking, how do I change channels, with the TV branded remote, or with the cable / STB branded remote ?
Please make sure you are 4-5 feet away from the devices and that they are in direct line of sight:
~ if TV branded remote , then set for TV Only ;
~ If STB / Cable remote , then sync the STB / Cable box. Xfinity is code 3084.
First, reset: press and hold ADD till solid, then 954:
(1) Set TV* : press VOL. If working, go to STB. If not, then: press and hold TV til the light turns solid, then enter the 4 digit code (test on/off and VOL);
*TV Only: If you do not have a STB / Cable box, then skip #2, and: press and hold TV till solid, enter 970 (TV Only).
(2) Set STB* : press CH. If working, you are done. If not, then: press and hold STB til the light turns solid, then enter Xfinty code 3084 (test on/off and CH);
*TV Only: If you do not have a STB / Cable box, then skip #2, and: press and hold TV till solid, enter 970 (TV Only).
