Xfinity boxes can operate using either RF (radio frequency) or IR (infrared). However, some installers may not enable IR functionality by default. Since the Flipper remote, like all universal remotes, uses IR, we need to ensure that IR is activated on your Xfinity box.
To activate IR using your Xfinity remote:
Menu → Settings → Remote Control → Activate IR
If these steps don’t match your model, check with Xfinity support or look up instructions for your specific box online.
Once IR is activated, you can use code 3084 to program your Flipper remote with Xfinity.
