Turn off HDMI-CEC

CEC stands for Consumer Electronics Control. It is a function of the HDMI standard that allows connected devices to talk with each other. This feature allows one device to control another.

As a result, when Flipper sends the on/off signal, it can cause the other device to turn on or off, resulting in an on/off mismatch.

So we want to turn off or disable the feature in both your TV and Cable, STB, if you have one.

Different manufacturers call it different things.

Below is a partial list - please look in your manual or use google to determine the exact settings to disable in your specific devices.

Please click on the inks below but understand your device may have different instructions or software:

Samsung

LG

Roku
