Problem:
Some cable companies activate the guide when the 0-9 or Favs is used in Flipper. In Flipper, we can eliminate or minimize the amount of time it appears. This is based on the Channel Entry Format when setting Favs.
Solution:
Try the other Channel Entry Format when setting Favs. The Guide may be triggered by the LC (OK) signal. Solution is to program Favs without the LC:
Format: 123,LC; 456,ADD, etc
You may need to delete the entered Favs or reset to Factory Settings.
Reset: Press and hold ADD till soldi, then 954. Light blinks out.
Delete: Same process as Programming, using the Delete:
(1) Press and hold STB and DEL till light turns solid, then enter the channels to delete. Exit by pressing STB.
